Publication Standards
Publication Standards in Al-Noor Journal for Humanities
The researcher / researcher must adhere to the publishing instructions and standards adopted in the journal and writing style. And ensure the availability of rigorous research criteria, including: clarity of research objective, presenting results precisely and sequentially, discussing these results to achieve the objectives of research, and the justification of conducting research in an objective manner.
The research should be reinforced by the publication details of the modern scientific references. The research should not contain results from other researches; as it is unacceptable behavior.
Please follow the following instructions when submitting the research to Al-Noor Journal for Humanities:
· Papers that do not comply with all the announced ethics will not be published.
· The paper is not submitted, published nor is being considered for publication.
· Any work or text for other authors, contributors, or sources (including the online ones) shall be properly acknowledged and documented.
· The language of the paper should be double-checked for accuracy prior to submission.
· The submitted works are the real and original works and intellectual property of their authors and not copied, partially or fully plagiarized from other works, without properly acknowledging the sources.
· In the event of discovering a certain mistake or inadequacy in a specific issue in the submitted work, it is the responsibility of the researcher to immediately notify the Editor-in-Chief to cooperate with the Journal and withdraw the paper or correct it.
· Submitting the paper via the online submission procedures.
· Submitting more than one paper at one time is a violation of the current code of publication ethics.
· The title of the paper in English and Arabic.
· The name of the researcher in both English and Arabic, his scientific degree, qualifications, scientific specialization, and place of work.
· The official email and phone number of each researcher.
· Two abstracts, one in Arabic and the other in English, font size (12) provided that the researcher ensures that the abstract is written in the correct scientific and methodological manner and accurate language (for Arabic and English), the number of words is not less than 200 and not more than 500 words, within which the entire research is briefly summarized. The abstract does not include any references, figures or tables.
· Keywords of the research are written in both Arabic and English, and should not be less than 3 and not more than five arranged alphabetically.
· The “introduction” is at the beginning of the research after the abstract.
· Conclusions and recommendations are to be available in the research within the scientific methodology and to be mentioned briefly within the abstract.
· The necessity of documenting the content of the research with references (quotations) according to the (APA STYLE). (Author's last name, year of publication, and page number).
· The number of research pages should not exceed 25 and not less than 10 pages, not including the references, A4 paper size.
· Microsoft office Word should be used in writing the paper. Moreover, tables and figures (if any) should be in the appropriate place in the research. And to be technically good for printing. And that the symbols are not included in the search
The researcher should adhere to the types and sizes of fonts as follows:
• Arabic: (Simplified Arabic) font size (14).
• English: (Times New Roman), font size (16), abstract (font 12). All other research pages should be (font 14).
• Using Microsoft office Word.
• The number of lines should not exceed 30 lines per page; the space between lines is 1 cm.
• The researcher will be notified of the decision of publication (will be published or not) within a period not exceeding two months from the date of submitting the research to the journal.
• The researcher is committed to the amendments made by the experts in the research according to the reports sent to him. It must be performed within a period not exceeding 15 days.
Documentation of references according to (APA Style) is as follows:
A. Books: The author’s last name or surname, the first author’s name (year of publication), the title of the book in italics, the publisher, place of publication.
B. Scientific journal: the author’s last name or surname, the first author’s name. (Year of publication). Title of the article in italics, issue, date of publication, page.
C. Theses - undergraduate: the author's last name or surname, the name of the first author (year of publication), the title of the research in italics, its type: master's thesis, doctoral thesis, in (major) discussed and approved by a university. Name of the university, date, page.
D. D - An article on the Internet: the name of the author, (year of publication), the title of the article in italics, the link. (link) in full by copying and pasting with the entry date on the website.
The journal is not obligated to publish a research that violates any of these standards.
