Al-Noor Journal for Digital Media Studies is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published semi-annually (temporarily) by Al-Noor University, with the goal of becoming a quarterly publication in the future. Currently, it is issued biannually in October and April, with one or two supplements per issue to avoid delays in publishing research. The editorial board aims to maintain interaction and communication with researchers and to promote cultural, intellectual, and knowledge bonds within Nineveh, Iraq, and the world.
The journal specializes in publishing original studies and research related to media and communication sciences, journalism, radio and television, public relations, advertising, and various forms of digital media.
Submitted research undergoes scientific and linguistic evaluation by specialized experts to determine its suitability for publication according to specific criteria. These criteria are designed to ensure the research's rigor and content quality, affirming its merit for publication in this trusted journal. Researchers prefer publishing in this journal due to Al-Noor University’s prominent role in Iraqi cultural movements in Nineveh, its association with the university, and the province’s rich creative heritage. With its distinguished scholars and media experts, the journal aims to become a cultural, intellectual, and knowledge platform that embraces and nurtures further intellectual creativity and scientific achievements. It fosters an environment where ideas and cultures interact through a critical knowledge perspective, encouraging debate and discussion to reinforce the foundations of creativity and excellence across various fields of knowledge.
