Al-Noor Journal for Information and Cybersecurity (NJIC)

Al-Noor Journal for Information and Cybersecurity (NJIC) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Al-Noor University, Iraq. The journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY) license and is issued twice a year, in December and June, with the possibility of adding one or two supplements per issue to avoid delays in the publication of research. In the future, the journal aims to transition into a quarterly publication, releasing four issues annually. The first issue was issued on December 17, 2024.

Scope and Objectives

NJIC specializes in publishing original research articles, review papers, and technical studies in the fields of information science and cybersecurity. The journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Information technology
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data protection
  • Networks and electronic systems
  • Digital security

The journal serves as a cultural and intellectual platform that embraces scientific creativity and technological advancement, engaging with the latest developments in technology and cybersecurity. Review and Publication Process

To ensure originality and prevent plagiarism, NJIC utilizes Turnitin. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process, which takes approximately 8-12 weeks, ensuring high-quality publications through expert scientific and linguistic evaluations.

Open-Access and Financial Policy

NJIC is an open-access journal and does not charge publication fees. Furthermore, the journal does not receive financial support from any governmental or non-governmental organization, maintaining its independence and commitment to academic integrity.
